About Me

My path on being a blackjack millionaire couldn't have been more unconventional. When you think of blackjack players you think of that movie 21 where you think you have to graduate from MIT or Harvard to be able to play. I didn't even finish college and in fact I had actually moved from Texas to LA initially to become a Hollywood actor. Although I do love card games I have never even really heard of blackjack and I didn't have the slightest clue to what the rules were. Blackjack was introduced to me when my producer at that time working for Disney had wanted me to audition for a comedy drama blackjack movie. I was the main character and we were trying to make the movie unfortunately it didn't make the cut but it definitely opened the doorway for me playing blackjack on the side when I started learning counting and everything. The movie was about a nerd yes which was me (not anymore remember this was like 10 years ago lol) murdering all these blackjack tables to the point where I'm 86 from all over the databases in the US. The character then goes through a cynical process where he disguises and even cross dresses his way of getting playing time I know it's hilarious. Either way even though I had initially thought this was my break, but because of me learning counting in the movie I had applied this to now being a full time career. And have discovered and invented advanced strategies along the way to crush the house edge more frequently. Blackjack is in no doubt fun but it is also a very lonely job for someone like me that constantly likes to have fun with friends, enjoying fitness and sports, and dating. Me constantly going to Indian reservations all over the world is still fun but very lonely at times. This is when I had really decided to teach more and more ever since COVID when casinos were shut down for that year, and now this year I'm in a serious relationship and she will freak out if I'm even gone just for a weekend. So I figured teaching will be my full time and playing blackjack will only be part time. I just won't be able to do what I love super full time living like a daredevil like in the past. Yes it'll be making less teaching locally than playing full time but at least it'll have a life with my friends and girlfriend. And I can finally have a social media account since I was worried about getting attention from casinos online. I have already bought a couple homes and while I have not fully retired yet, I'm definitely entering that phase for sure. Everything happens for a reason and COVID was definitely a blessing in disguise for me to really figure out what I was going to do in my life at that point forward.
